Welcome To The Principle Trust Children's Charity
Based in Skipton, North Yorkshire our aim at The Principle Trust Children’s Charity is to help improve the quality of life of children from across Yorkshire who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, or disabled through the provision of free holidays and respite breaks.
We help children suffering from difficulties such as long-term, life threatening or limiting illnesses, disabilities, additional needs, mental health issues, or overcrowded inadequate housing.
We own six beautiful holiday homes; four of which are situated at Marton Mere, Haven Holiday Park, in Blackpool. Our caravans in Blackpool are ideal for families seeking both a wide range of entertainment and activities, as well as some relaxation time together as a family.
Our two holiday lodges can be found on the banks of Lake Windermere at White Cross Bay, Parkdean Resorts Holiday Park. These lodges have been specially adapted to meet the needs of children who are terminally ill, who have Autism, disabilities or other additional needs, set in beautiful and tranquil surroundings.
We are a Children’s Charity, based in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
The Principle Trust works closely with local authorities, children’s social services, children’s centres, schools, and other charities to ensure that children and their families or carers, who are most in need, benefit from the holidays we have to offer.
The Trust’s 100% donations policy ensures every penny raised from events and marketing directly benefits children and their families.
Our holidays help give children the time and means to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Holiday Homes
The Principle Trust’s holiday homes offer respite and recuperation, they give families a chance to spend some quality time together, away from home or hospitals, in peaceful and calm surroundings.
For families living with a serious childhood illness, or disabilities time together making memories that last is everything.
Fundraisers
The Principle Trust relies totally on fundraising and donations to pay for the purchase, upkeep, ground rent, insurance, utilities, and additional costs associated with running holiday homes.
